Biography
Dr. Bao was selected to be the sole Chinese delegate to participate in an international health summit in Israel that was attended by health care leaders from 27 countries. The event shaped her vision in global health and provided her the opportunity to pursue a career tackling the global health issues. Prior to coming to the U.S., Dr. Bao earned a PhD from Weizmann Institute of Science from Israel under the supervision of Prof. Yosef Yarden. She has conducted breast cancer research and published significant discoveries in world leading journals. Dr. Bao has received many awards for her achievements in basic research, clinical work, and science administration from China, Israel, and the U.S.
